Sethumada (Pollachi)
This is a rustic village, few minutes from the Parambikulam Wildlife sanctuary. There are small farm-stays where one can experience first-hand village life and watch activities in a working farm. This is generally used as a base to visit the sanctuary as accommodation inside the Park is quite basic. Visiting the Tribal village is another unique and interesting activity that can be done here. It is easily accessible from Coimbatore.
