An enchanting family homestay, Cardamom House is located in a remote part of Tamil Nadu, South India. It is also an eco-farm and bird-watching centre. There are 6 double rooms and a suite, all of which enjoy superb views of both the lake and the Western Ghats. The rooms are cooled by ceiling fans and are simply but pleasingly furnished. Early morning tea or coffee is served in the verandah outside the room whilst lunch is in ‘Four Winds’ – an area cooled by natural breezes. A wide variety of meals using recipes from around the world are created and only fresh produce from the local village market or its own farm is used.
