Earlier known as GRT Temple Bay, this luxury resort lies near a stretch of sand off the East Coast Road on the Bay of Bengal, not too far from the Shore Temple. Spread over 44 acres, the resort has 2 onsite restaurants, a poolside bar, and the full service Serena Spa, & swimming pools. Accommodation comes in well appointed chalets that either face the garden, Pool or Sea. All guest rooms includes wireless Internet, tea and coffee making facilities, a Residents Bar, shaving mirrors, hair dryers and LCD television. The rooms are totally non smoking with a private zone for smokers. We would recommend this Resort if you are looking for luxury while at Mahabalipuram. The sea-view chalet rooms though come at a price are good value for money.
