This is a beautiful Plantation Bungalow close to the Thattekad Bird sanctuary. You will be the guests of Jose and Daisy Mundakkal who are from a family of planters who have been living in the area for generations. This is a great place to experience the life in an estate and see how the various crops including spices, fruits and rubber are grown and harvested. This is also a great place for bird watching. Jose and Daisy are excellent hosts and Daisy is also an excellent chef. If you are interested in Kerala cooking you are most welcome to join Daisy in her kitchen. For the children this will be a good experience as they will have loads to do as the house in the middle of acres of rubber and plantations of spices.
